AUTHENTIC FOOD ALERT! Adobo Boy has awesome customer service and amazingly authentic Filipino food with good combinations  that you probably have never had in your life! Served by the cutest couple Jackie and Ace. Squash, pork belly, okra, and some special sort of string beans with a delicious sauce… delicious food just doesn’t stop there. Also, there are Handmade desserts and drinks. Highly recommend!

Oh wow! Such a fun place for these food adventurous divas. It is family owned and operated, and the owners & chef/server welcomed us and were BEYOND kind!! They gave us wonderful insight and stories, and great reccomendations. The food was impressive and delicious. We tried the kwek kwek (fried quail eggs), the chicken adobo and pandit bam-i espesyal. We recommend it all! And we got a taste of the purple yam icecream (ube).

Wide variety on the menu and the menu changes enough to give you a great opportunity to try many dishes.
Family owned, and very hospitable, at that.

There's a reason this place has a perfect 5.0 rating. First, the food is amazing. The bone broth at the start of service blew me away, and the Adobo pork was phenomenal.

Then, there's the service. Ace and Jackie are some of the nicest and friendliest restaurateurs I have genuinely never experienced such excellent service in my life...

About Adobo Boy

Our Family

Adobo Boy is a family-owned restaurant run by Ace and Chef Jackie, a husband-and-wife team passionate about sharing Filipino cuisine's rich and authentic flavors. The restaurant takes its name from their son, lovingly nicknamed "Adob" Boy, who proudly calls himself the biggest fan of pork adobo, a dish steeped in Filipino tradition.

Our menu offers a variety of dishes to satisfy every craving, from hearty rice bowls and savory noodles to bold and flavorful entrees. With a rotating weekly menu, there's something fresh and exciting to try. Every dish is crafted carefully, using high-quality, fresh ingredients and traditional Filipino cooking techniques.

At Adobo Boy, we aim to deliver more than just a meal—we strive to create a dining experience that feels like home, offering the warmth and authentic taste of the Philippines in every bite.

Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to a Culinary Destination

What began as a food trailer, pop-up diner, festival vendor, and catering service has blossomed into a vibrant hub for authentic Filipino cuisine. Rooted in cherished family recipes passed down through generations in the Philippines, the Marasigans are driven by a passion for bringing Filipino culinary culture's warmth, flavor, and tradition to their community.

As the only Filipino restaurant in West Michigan, Adobo Boy fills a unique and delicious niche. The closest alternatives are located in Chicago or Detroit. Inspired by global food icons like Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern—who have hailed Filipino cuisine as "the next big thing"—Adobo Boy invites you to discover the rich, bold flavors of the Philippines. Embark on a culinary journey right here in West Michigan.
